Rockets - Astral World

...from 'Plasteroid' LP (Rockland Records 1979)

Rockets, unique UFO band from France (or maybe from a far unknown world...).
'Astral World' is a very melodic track, perfectly played and double-perfectly arranged: a synth-pop diamond that your nephews will have to listen in the future! MAGNETIC MELODY!!!

ASTRAL WORLD
In the night, when it's dark
I will stand, dressed in black
Astral world
I'm the dream in your sleep
I'm the tear when you weep
And I can hypnotise you with bionic eyes
You can find me around, Astral world
You can see me around, Astral world
I'm the fear in your mind
I'm the way you can't find
But I can ease your pain
With my synthetic brain
You can find me around, Astral world
You can see me around
But it'ill take some time until you realise
The day you'll see the light
I will stand dressed in white
And I'll give you the key
To the Eternity
Astral world is around
But it took some time until you realise
Astral world.

Bombers - Main Man

...from 'Bombers' LP (Telson Records 1978)

Here today a cult band!!! Bombers was a canadian act formed by the best session instrumentists of that age in Canada, for example guitarist Walter Rossi (author of the posted song), bassist Busta Jones and keyboardists like Gino Soccio, Denis Lepage (Lime...), Marty Simon and George Lagios.
'Main Man' is a downtempo funkybeat track you can't miss to listen to, even if the whole LP is an authentic masterpiece (Side A is entirily composed of 'Supermax' covers, but the results are wonderful)...SIMPLY GROOOOOOVALICIOUS!!! Bombers!

Neu! - E. Musik

...from 'Neu! 75' LP (United Artists Records 1975)

Ladies and gentlemen tonight i'm glad to present you Neu!, a german duo from Dusseldorf formed by two original Kraftwerk members, multistrumentist Michael Rother and drummer Klaus Dinger. Though the band had minimal commercial success during its existence, Neu! are retrospectively considered one of the founding fathers of Krautrock and a significant influence on artists includig P.I.L., Joy Division,
Brian Eno, David Bowie, Gary Numan, Ultravox and much of the current electronic music scene. The song i've posted it's called 'E. Musik', a 10 minutes suite flowing from a hammery drum initial section to a dreamy fading ending, all under a synthesizer & guitar carpet! FABULOUS!
