...from ''Q'' LP (X-Records 1982)
Mutant disco from Germany...synths and drums as only in the obscure kraut club you could listen to...
X-Records keeps on surprising me! CHECK IT OUT IMMEDIATELY :-)

This is one of the few music blogs that I will download every post, safe in the knowledge it will be a prog-cosmic-electronic-discoid classic of monsterous proportions and the 'Rain' track is no exception, talk about psych-folk-funk prog with a groove track, beautiful rhythms, dazzling analog wizardry, tripped out close harmonies 60s west coast psychedelia style and of course a great stab of proto-metal guitar excess....is there anymore where 'Rain' came from? I would love to hear more!
ps> must be something about artists called 'Q' as the only other 'Q' I know is the early electro-synth classic "The Voice Of Q' by erm..'Q'!....just had a thought, there is of course the sublime Q Lazzarus and his godlike 'Goodbye Horses', yep, thats my 'Q's, anymore....?!?
Ciao, proprio bello questo brano, c'è la possibilità di sentire l'intero album??
....a proposito complimenti per il blog
Man, I am still grooving to this nearly a month later...I am even thinking of spending 50 euros on the rest of the album so please post another track so I can make my mind up (and justify it to my partner...see listen! Its well worth it!)...why this track has not been re-edited is beyond me, you certainly know how to come up with uber-rare cosmic disco gold...
Just been checking out the X label discography like you suggested, I had no idea they also put out the Moebius album here in Europe...anymore X recommendations?
This is definately a label to check out, thanks for the heads up!
LOL! The random word verification for this post is "Droid"!!! so appropriate!
